Come un moderno alchimista DEM crea personaggi bizzarri, creature surreali, abitanti di un livello nascosto nel mondo degli umani. Ecettico e divertente, attraverso muri dipinti, illustrazioni e installazioni ricche di allegorie, lascia che sia lo spettatore a trovare la chiave per il suo enigmatico e arcano mondo. Oltre ad avere vecchie fabbriche ed edifici abbandonati come sfondo abituale ai suoi lavori, DEM è stato anche ospite alla Oro gallery di Goteborg e ha preso parte a esposizioni importanti come Street Art, Sweet Art (PAC, Milano), Nomadaz (Scion Gallery, Los Angeles), Original Cultures (Stolen Space Gallery, London) and CCTV (Aposthrofe Gallery, Hong Kong). | Like a modern alchemist, DEM creates weird charachters, surreal creatures, inhabitants of invisible layers in the world of humans. Eclectic and funny, through wall-paintings, illustrations and installations rich in allegorical language, he lets the viewer find the key to that enigmatic and arcane world. Besides painting in condemned buildings and factories, ideal background for his works, DEM has also been guest artist at Goteborg’s Oro Gallery, and taken part in exhibitions such as Street Art, Sweet Art (PAC, Milano), Nomadaz (Scion Gallery, Los Angeles), Original Cultures (Stolen Space Gallery, London) and CCTV (Aposthrofe Gallery, Hong Kong). |
